The use of Science Notebooks provide 1. A Focus on the Investigation 2.Data Acquisition and Organization 3.Making Sense of Data 4. Reflection and Self - Assessment. 4.

The second and third graders get the opportunity to use the middle school lab facilites once a week.

Hands-on investigations peak their interest and enthusiasm! Students become familiar with lab equipment, safety and scientific writing.
